"TAXPAYERS are being forced to pay £3million to teach criminals in Jamaica to play cricket, it emerged last night.
Astonishingly, the £3million comes on top of a further £43million a year from public funds for keeping about 1,000 Jamaican-born convicts in British jails."
Matthew Elliott, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “Thousands of schoolboys up and down the country would love to have cricket lessons. Parents will be horrified to learn that their taxes are funding cricket lessons for criminals in the West Indies.”

HIT-AND-RUN ASYLUM SEEKER ALLOWED TO STAY IN BRITAIN
"A GRIEVING father yesterday attacked the immigration system after a failed asylum seeker who killed his daughter in a hit-and-run crash won his appeal to stay in Britain.
Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, 32, had never held a licence and was on bail and disqualified from driving when he ploughed into 12-year-old Amy Houston".
"Ibrahim who has never held a driving licence, had run up a string of motoring offences. He was jailed for just four months after magistrates heard how he had hit Amy with his Rover in 2003 while banned from driving".

A Migrant a Minute Registers With GPs

Immigrants are registering with a GP for free healthcare at a rate of more than one every minute, it was revealed last night.
Analysis of NHS research shows that 605,000 people who arrived from overseas registered with a doctor in England and Wales last year - up by 50 per cent in only seven years.
Campaigners say this places a significant 'strain' on services".

Unemployment 'Will Keep Rising In 2010'
"The number of 16 to 24-year-olds out of work has reached a record high of 943,000, meaning almost one in five are not employed".
"Unemployment will continue to rise next year, Work and Pensions Secretary Yvette Cooper has told Sky News".
"Ms Cooper said she was looking to get more help from employers".
This is not surprising at all.
The majority of staff at two local companies that I know of are employing an unacceptably high number of foreign nationals, mainly Poles and Russians.
95% of the fruit packers at Cross and Wells on the Eurolink Estate at Sittingbourne are foreign nationals.
And around 75% of the warehouse staff at Morrisons in Swale are Polish or Russian.
These are just two companies that I've been made aware of.
If this pattern is replicated throughout the country it comes as no surprise that unemployment is at an all time high.
Ms Cooper would do well to start investigating how many companies in the UK are employing mainly foreign nationals.

The joke degrees are being handed out by more than 700 bodies, including churches and colleges of Chinese medicine.
They allow students to obtain a visa to work in Britain as “high-skilled migrants”, the Government’s chief immigration adviser warned yesterday".

HOUSING LIST WAIT 'TOPS 10 YEARS'
"It would take one in four local authorities more than 10 years to house everyone on their social housing waiting list, research has claimed.

The Effects of Uncontrolled Immigration
A few years ago following redundancy I decided to sell my house and move away from London.
The reason I chose to make the move was as a direct result of the numbers of immigrants moving into the area while at the same time many of those who had lived there all their lives, many were friends of mine, were moving out.
I hardly knew anybody anymore and began to feel increasingly isolated.
I'm not a rascist and never have been, when I refer to people as English or British this includes those from ethnic backgrounds who have lived here all their lives and probably share my concerns.
Simple common sense dictates that if you allow a high number of immigrants to move into a small area, some of whom have been at war with each other for years, maybe centuries, there is going to be trouble.
My early fears have since been borne out by the high number of gangs on our streets, many of whom are just chilren, who are prepared to use knives or even guns.
Only a small number of incidents involving knives or guns get reported in the press, the problem is far worse than the Government is prepared to admit.
Additionally if you don't provide the resources to support an increasing population then you are contributing to the unrest.
It's also a fact that the vast majority of councils, if not all, offer priority housing to immigrants and provide them with electrical goods, beds, etc.
The electrical goods must also carry a twelve month guarantee.
Those who have lived in this country all their lives and find themselves in need of help have to apply for a crisis loan for these items which is then clawed back from the benefits they receive.
Immigrant youths are also given £25 a week pocket money, which is insulting to any single mum or dad whose 10 year old second hand fridge/freezer has just packed up.
Is it any wonder there is growing resentment?
I chose to move to this area as it had a very low number of immigrants at the time I moved here.
Even so I found myself unable to find a job despite excellent references, a couple of IT Diplomas and a very stable work record.
I thought at the time my age was a contributing factor and I discussed this with my MP and a few local councillors.
(One of the councillors suggested I could get a Xmas job at Tesco's collecting the trolleys in the car park).
Needless to say I declined and later found a job although it was low paid and the working conditions were pretty dire.
When I see politicians, businessmen and so called experts on the TV claiming that immigrants are welcome because they are willing to do the jobs the English are not prepared to do it is difficult for me to resist the urge to throw something at the screen. This is utter nonsense.
I have recently learned that there are a huge number of EU Nationals now working in this area, mainly Poles and Russians.
The local distribution branch of Morrisons which opened for business earlier this year employs far more Europeans than English staff.
I am told the English are outnumbered by 4 to 1 on the night shift despite this being an area where the level of unemployment is extremely high.
Quite a few don't even speak English.
In the meantime our prisons are overcrowded due to the huge number of immigrants being housed in them which in turn contributes to the high number of dangerous criminals being allowed back on the streets due to lack of prison space.
So how can our politicians continue to claim that immigration is good for Britain?
The facts speak for themselves and I fear things will get a lot worse before they get better.
